In this fantasy world, the last age ended when the Strife between Illitor, the champions of men, and Moshetan, servants of doom, brought life on Ealisia to the brink of extinction. Though magic was blamed for the disaster, all who lived to tell the tale knew that people were to blame. Regardless, magic became anathema, but what drives the universe can be neither destroyed, nor forgotten. Civilization crumbled and Ealisians reverted to a primitive life. Magic, however, lingered, hidden in plain sight.
